to change your life
Why Our Program Works For You:
About Our Suboxone Treatment Practice
Our practice is led by experienced physicians, Drs. Chad Hall and Michael Smith, who have the expertise needed to manage medication-based opioid treatment and pain management. A key aspect of treatment rests in his commitment to versatile care — his team and his experience in the addiction treatment industry has resulted in a broad knowledge of effective treatment strategies in different cases.
The guiding principle of Las Vegas Suboxone Doctor always centered on a patient-first approach. We appreciate that everyone’s life history involves unique circumstances that must be taken into account before determining the best approach for treatment and our highly trained staff are sensitive to the individual needs of every person who walks through their doors.
We strive to create a plan that works for you, using our in-house lab and pharmacy. This way, we can design innovative, compounded treatments and manage withdrawal using a variety of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) methods.
There is no greater accomplishment for us than helping our patients reach a sustained and satisfying recovery.
How Suboxone® Works:
Suboxone® is an FDA approved medication used in the treatment of opiate addiction. Suboxone® comes in the form of a sublingual film and includes two ingredients, buprenorphine and naloxone in a 4:1 ratio. Buprenorphine is a partial-agonist which only has a limited opioid effect. Buprenorphine competes with the full-agonist opioids (such as morphine and heroin) for the opioid receptor. Buprenorphine has an exceptionally strong binding ability which displaces existing opioids and prevents others from attaching to the receptor.
This is important because treatment can eliminate craving and withdrawal allowing you to think and function normally. Will help determine the right course of treatment for you.
